What is more important for students to develop at school cooperation or competition?

Nowadays students learn a lot of things at school. Some of them are cooperation and competition. But which feature, developed at school, is more important for students?

On the other hand, competition is also a really important thing the students need to develop at school. All our lives we are competing but just in different things. It is really important that this feature would be learnt while still being at school so that later, while working, you would not let others win just because you think they are better.

Taking everything into consideration it should be said that they both, cooperation and competition, are really important for students to be developed at school. To my mind, cooperation is more important because it is easier to find a job.
