Walk To School Day

Walk to school day.

Today Iam going to talk about traveling and transport. These days almost all people are using transports to reach their wanted places, but there is one day in United states, when people are using their feet to go to school. It was started by the Partnership for a walkable America in 1997. The United States patnered with Canada and the United Kingdom in 2000, to create International Walk to school day. Then in 2003, the even was expanded to international Walk to school week so that schools around the world could incorporate multiple activities into the celebration.

Day like this is really good for peoples health, so in my opinion it would be great idea to have day like this in Lithuania. This day would promote everyone to do not use the transport like car, bus and others so often.
