Firstly, one of the most frequently asked questions from students to teachers is: „Where will I use this outside of school?“. Usually, they answer that the material they‘re teaching is basic knowledge that every single person should know but, at the same time, they could not answer questions from other lessons. If the schools taught us why that information is important, relevant and why we should care about the subjects, not only will it be more enjoyable to learn, we would know the purpose behind the work we put in. In return, this would also help students find out who they want to become and what career path they should choose.
