The mass media has influence on our lifestyle.
Another disadvantageous aspect concerning the mass media is related to increasisng consumerism in modern society. Popular people are invited to advertise different products to generate more effective sales. As long as money is needed to buy goods, it must be earned too. And here appears the vicious circle .The more products people want, the more money is needed, so they have to work more. It might sound fine if the employed enjoyed the job they do, but as the statistics shows, even 80 percent of them are miserable about what they do. Naturally, it affects the lifestyle of cosumers negatively.
