Teaching Literature: Some Hints For New And Experienced Teachers

Teaching literature: some hints for new and experienced teachers.

Teaching is an art, and the most effective training comes after graduation.

What qualities should a teacher, who is a constant model for her or his students, have?

What do our students observe in us? Here are a few thoughts which may be helpful to the teachers.

1.Love your students and have a passion for teaching; otherwise you will feel dissatisfied.

2.Always address your students by names. This creates a friendly atmosphere.

3.Don’t waste class time telling personal anecdotes that have nothing to do with what you should be teaching.

4.The teacher is a constant model for her/his students, so be neat, tidy, and set a good example.

5.Some students try to interrupt learning by asking you endless questions. Do not let them dominate the class with their constant talking.
