Another way to help our planet would be to reduce car emissions. It is not necessary to drive with a car or a bus everywhere, we can switch to walking or riding a bicycle for shorter distances. In this case we would reduce air pollution.

How can non-governmental organizations, communities, local authorities contribute to tackling environmental problems?

Our community could start an organization where anyone could plant a tree. As we know, plants give us oxygen and give life to the world’s wildlife. What is more, trees provide us with the materials for tools and shelters, it means that if each person planted at least one tree, we would drastically help our earth.
