The capital city: Madrid (the centre of the country) Spain has about 46 million inhabitants.
This is the Spanish coat of arms: The Spanish anthem is also a national symbol.
The north-west: wet, rainy and the temperatures are mild all over the year. The east and south: hot in summer and warm in winter, it doesn’t rain too much. The centre: very hot in summer and very cold in the winter and usually rains in spring and autumn. It is colder in the mountains, where it snows in winter.
Fernando Alonso is Spanish international champion in car racing.
El Rocio festival takes place every May, in the province of Huelva.
Other festivals are not so religious. Fallas in Valencia.
