Religion in Lithuanian culture is still very much present and alive. Churches and other religious places are hustling and bustling the whole year. While yes, the attendance to such places increases largely during the religious holidays, but should people be forced to pay for the ability to worship god in the church? In my opinion, this is blasphemous and unacceptable. Here is why.

Churches already have a form of payment system. Churches, as most of us know, accept voluntary donations and manage to stay open and pay for necessities. Most people donate as much as they can or nothing at all because it is all they have to spare.
