Share Of Women In National Parliaments

Share of women in national parliaments.
The subject of my talk is share of women in national parliaments. I’d like to begin by commenting on the data of the graph. The provided bar chart shows the statistics of women in the national parliaments of some European countries in 1997 and 2011. As we can see, the x axis represents countries, while the y axis stands for percentages. According to this graph it is clear that the majority of women in national parliaments are in Sweden - about 45% in both years. The second leading country is Norway - about 40% in both years. To my surprise, the minority are in Romania and Poland, they have the lowest percentage 10% rate. To my amaze, Belgium in 1997 had only 10% women in the Parliament, but in 2011 the percentage raised to 40%.
