School helps shape personality.

By the time people finish school, their hobbies, values and friends change many times. In my opinion, social experiences and environment young people face at educational institutions help to form character.

First of all, I think that the biggest influence comes from classmates and friends. People with similar interests and hobbies form groups, however many stereotypical social groups like preppy kids, jocks, nerds or popular ones are only seen in movies nowadays. Now friend groups are usually mixed with many different personas on board making it easier to find your true self without having to fit in. Performing activities or just simply hanging out with friends or classmates who have distinct personalities for about one third of the day makes you unconsciously adapt, mimic them and in a way – steal bits and parts of different people and make those parts your own.
