School Celebrations Essay
School celebrations essay.
Nowadays we have so many different celebrations and festivals. Maybe not all are important but people like to celebrate. Each person or festival has own tradition. So, at first I would like to tell about my school’s traditions.
There are some main traditions in my school. We celebrate Christmas, Easter, Teacher’s day, Shrove Tuesday, St. Valentines day and of course the Last Bell. Each festival is celebrated differently. For example: we sent cards or little presents to our closer friends before Christmas and have a wonderful evening with dances, games and various shows before New Year. It is called New Year’s carnival. Some days before Easter there is also an event for this festival. We congratulate our teachers and wish them the best during Teacher’s day. Students wear various masks, bake pancakes and eat them during Shrove Tuesday and so on. My class also has some traditions. We celebrate each birthday and the last day of the school year. My favourite traditional event is Christmas party. I like it because all people in that event look happy, smile and bring happiness to other.
In my mind traditional celebrations have a very big role to people doesn’t matter of what age they are. It is clear that we find out a lot of information from all festivals and celebrating brings joy and good mood to our hearts. Despite the fact that traditional festivals have changed, they are still useful and important to us. I can’t say that I am actively involved in all festivals but in some yes. But there are some which I prefer observe what other people do.
