Road Transportation.

In logistics very big part of it consists of road transportation. It is one of the biggest branch in the logistics sector. Road transport is very important to everyone. It is the main type of transportation for shorter distances. Without it shops wouldn’t have any products on their shelves. People wouldn’t be able to travel somewhere. Also they wouldn’t be able to receive their parcels or letters. Every day trucks and buses travel thousands of kilometers in order to meet our needs. Without Road Transport, delivering cargos would be very difficult because ships, trains or plains can’t get to the places where road transport goes. And in this project I will try to present most popular vehicle types used in road transportation.

There is a lot vehicle types used in ligostics. For example:

So, in my opinion road transportation will maintain it’s popularity because without it there would not be logistics at all. Road transport is very manoeuvrable and can travel door to door. Without it our lives would be much more heavier. I think that in the future road transport will be even more popular than today, because without it any other logistics branch would not exist.
