Furthermore, one of the renewable energy sources – includes biomass. Biomass energy is the use of organic material to generate energy. Nearly 80% of the total biomass use for energy today occurs in rural areas of developing countries. Biomass can also be converted into several types of fuel gases. These gases can be used to generate heat or electricity but also to produce synthetic natural gas or liquid fuels. However, all first-generation biofuels historically have been unable to compete on cost with prevailing petroleum-derived fuels. The main issues Biomass energy face is Political and Related to nature(drought, floods, fire, pests, and insect attacks) all affect production of biomass.
