Political Factors – According to Magister (2017), it is stated that Burning Man is fundamentally apolitical not only because they think politics is not important, but also because they think it’s not the highest value of the community. But in contradiction, burning man which is an apolitical event is extremely involved in politics from local area to the local level (Burning man, 2019).

Economic Factors – Burning man being an event with a multimillion-dollar budget (Balamir,2011), is economically relatively strong. Some of the funds were covered by anonymous donors while majority is covered by crowdfunding promotions (Kotecki,2018). For the year 2017, they have earned a revenue of about $3.7 million minus expenses and they have a separate set of tickets for the ones with low income. Burning man is centered on a distributing community and it is “commerce-free” (Hoffower,2019)
