Neoliberalism Encourages Journalism To Serve Corporate Interests Do You Agree Or Disagree?

Neoliberalism encourages journalism to serve corporate interests Do you agree or disagree?.

I could easily agree that our news quality depends on big companies interests because commonly they are the owners of all media channels including radio, television and newspaper industries. All of this is changing, and changing rapidly. Economic and cultural globalization arguably would be impossible to promote global markets and to encourage consumer values without a global commercial media system so “maximum leaders” manipulate media to make society more consumer. What we are seeing is the creation of a global oligopoly. It reduces objectivity of journalists and this is why our "messages" are often pure brainwashing. It is not fear because they rule with impunity. All people need to do is sit back, shut up and shop, and let markets and technologies work their magical wonders.

All things considered, neoliberalism system encourages journalism to serve corporate interests by making people consumers and using advertising for their business growth.
