Klaipėda - is the second most important city in Lithuania - a port city with a great distinction. Klaipeda Seaport is astonishing not only with growing economic data but also a significant contribution to the well-being of the city and of the whole country. In order to become a hub for attraction and a significant economic factor for Klaipėda city and region and for the development of the entire country's economy, it is very important to ensure the regional competitiveness of the port. Due to the political peripatetics, part of the Russian cargo is diverted from the port of Klaipėda and moves through Kaliningrad port of Russia, but the composition of Klaipėda port cargo is most diversified compared to all ports of the Eastern Baltic. The port is very important and convenient in all the world. Export and import are also very important.
