Life Without A Legacy

Life without a Legacy.

I am my parent’s legacy and the great ancestors that came before them. And when my mother looks at me she says “You are my Life”.

Well, what is this very life we speak of? Until now our greatest scientists can’t even come up with a distinct definition of what “life” truly is. Is life the first breath we take, is it the cells and bacteria that make up a living organism? Well, I may not get too technical with the term but life for me is living. A life worth living. Where life can eat, breath, move, grow, reproduce. Where humans can taste, love, socialize, experience, and thrive.

As humans, we are actually the only living species who are aware of our existence and that makes us feel special, superior, and worth more to life than a bug, ant, or tree. We say things like your beautiful as a flower, tall as a tree, mind deep like the ocean, you are my universe. We mimic ourselves with these very life forms yet we forget that they are living beings as well.
