Leonardo da Vinci.

Firstly about him. Leonardo was born on 15 April 1452 in the Tuscan hill town of Vinci,which was in Italy. Little is known about his early life. He spent some years in this house in Anchiano with his mother and then he moved to live with his father and grandparents. He received informal education in Latin, geometry and mathematics.

Second of all his works are known worldwide even today. His first know painting is of a landscape of the Arno Valley where he was born. It was done by pen and ink. He was twenty years old at that time.
