Journalists in the media today have too much power and influence over people and politicians.

Have you noticed that the more you read newspapers, online news, or other sources of media, the more you become influenced by journalist’s opinions and outlooks? It suggests that nowadays people, who report news stories, have so much power that not only ordinary people do become influenced by them but also politicians. From my point of view, reports today are too powerful that they can even affect other people’s views.

Firstly, I hold a view that journalists in the media today have too much influence over civils, because some journalists report news stories subjectively. For instance, a reporter writes an article about some sort of debatable topic in which he very clearly states his opinion. More vulnerable or weaker person who read this article can be affected by expressed opinion. In this way, these types of newsmen shape other people’s opinions and worldviews.

Secondly, journalists also have a very big influence on politicians.
