Today I will write about Italian Republic. So, Italian capital is Rome. In Italy are living about 60 million people. Italy is near to the Mediterranean Sea, and her Neighbour countries are France, Switzerland, Austria and Slovenia. In Italy also are very little countries - San Marino and Vatican. Italy are famous for its food, fashions, design, clothing industry, architecture, art, music and as a great place for tourism. In this country is very popular sport – football, and Italian football players won 4 times world championship, 1 time European championship, and 1 time Olympic championship

Best Italian scientist was astronomer Galileo Galilei, but Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo were famous artists, who created one of the famous pictures in the world – Mona Lisa (da Vinci), and made the Statue of David (Michelangelo). People from all the world are going to Italy to see Colosseum Amphitheatre, tower of Pisa, Venice city, St. Peter's Basilica, Sistine Chapel, Trevi fountain.
