Engine bleed air from the pneumatic system is used for thermal anti-icing of the wing leading edge.

The ice protection system for the engine air intakes uses bleed air from the 3rd stage of the engine high pressure compressor(HPC). The air is supplied to the air intake by opening the nacelle anti-ice shutoff valve. Each nacelle anti-ice system operates independently.

Two electrical windshield wipers are installed, one on each forward windshield.
