Sightseeing is important, because it broadens our horizons, we learn about history and culture of another country. As for local food, trying new dishes, you learn about culinary heritage and bring new recipes home. For example, when I was in Spain, I was fascinated by paella – traditional Spanish dish made of rise, shrimps, chicken and vegetables. Since then I have cooked it several times for my friends and family. In my opinion camping would be less expensive, because it doesn’t require money for eating out, museums, shopping centers and other entertainment in the city, you shouldn’t pay a lot of money for accommodation too, because in camps prices for parking a car and getting up a tend are reasonable.
