Nevertheless, the gap year has some serious drawbacks. The most serious problem that after a year off some of students could become lazy to continue education. It happens because that young people quickly admire big money and think that the education is not essential for work. Besides, after a break you have lost your peers. For this reason, it becomes harder to join in anew community and some people may feel sad because of the routine. Finally, the gap year requires much money for travelling and living independently.

All in all, this break between school and university is a terrific idea only for those who do not know anything about their studies and what exactly they want to be. However, students who really know what they want should not waste their expensive time and money.
