Future predictions (with the verbs: hope, think, believe, expect, etc.) The sun will rise at 7 am. 2. Promises / requests / refusals / offers I promise we will go to the animal park tomorrow. 3. For actions / events / situations The sun will set soon. 4. On the spot decisions It’s dark. I will turn on the lights.

Form: Subject + verb to be (am/is/are) + going to + bare infinitive of the main verb.

We won’t be travelling to Milan this time on Monday. She won’t be wathing TV at 8 o’clock tonight. They won’t be hosting a party tomorrow.

Will we be travelling to Milan this time on Monday Will she be watching TV at 8 o’clock tonight Will they be hosting a party tomorrow.

Form: will + have + past participle of the main verb.

Actions that will have finishes before a stated time in the future. He will have finished the report by Friday.
