We use will for: On-the-spot decisions. I‘ll have the green salad to start with. Predictions based on what we think (with verbs such as think, expect, believe, expressions such as be sure, be afraid, adverbs such as probably, perhaps, certainly, etc.) I hope I‘ll be on time for the afternoon meeting.
