Song Festival Sea Festival weekend Street music day New Year fireworks.

Ati-Atihan, Philippines The Battle of the Orange in Italy Holi, India.

The celebration in Kalibo is so vivid that it is best told in pictures. The feast dedicated to the baby Jesus is nevertheless pagan in nature. The festival consists of tribal dances, music, locals dressing in colorful costumes, putting on national weapons and organizing marches.

This is a battle of colors. The Holi Festival marks the beginning of spring, making this celebration especially bright. Holi is usually celebrated in February-March during the full moon and is held in one of the old calendars for the new year. The celebration of Holi is associated with the god of love Kamadeva, and one of the meanings of the celebration is the victory of good over evil (spring, rebirth - against winter, stagnation). Participants in the festival have to lubricate their faces and bodies frequently, all watered with colored water.
