Fatigue In Aviation

The paper introduces with definition of mental and physical fatigue, its effection on human behaviour, performance on the main tasks, especially when it comes to aviation. Also, it is explained what causes fatigue to pilots and ATCOs, what hazards can it bring and how to stop and avoid fatigue to pilots which may cause fatal aviation accidents. Furthermore, from found data (fatigue-related aviation accidents) it can be seen that fatigue is serious problem impacting pilots’ job performance and that in from 1978 to 2014 more than 350 accidents happened and more than 750 people were killed. According to official statistics fatigue is involved at least 4–8% of aviation mishaps.
