Some people believe that a crime is a result of social problems and poverty, others think crime is a result of a bad person’s nature Discuss both views and give your opinion.

When a crime is committed many people are quick to point the finger at a poor person. Others defend them by stating a criminal is born, not made. There are two sides of every story and in this essay, I would like to present both views.

On one hand, poor living conditions can drive someone to commit a felony. As of today, poverty is one of the largest problems globally and living in a capitalism world, everyone’s life is worth their income. Consequently, crimes are committed in order to guarantee a better life. For instance, In Mexico, where crime rate is rising rapidly, citizens are breaking the laws in order to provide a luxurious life for their families and themselves.

On the other hand, criminal acts are morally incorrect, however, some peoples’ mental state is not ordinary.
