Are school leaving exams necessary.

School leaving exams have both, advantages and disadvantages. Some people think that they are necessary because it measure student’s abilities and how much they have learned. However, in my opinion school leaving exams should not be necessary.

Firstly, stress and anxiety is very common in youth nowadays as a consequence of exam preparation and teacher’s pressure towards students. All that leads to illnesses and the quality of student’s life. It is well known that large numbers of young people become frustrated when they fail an examination, which was probably prepared in a whole year.
