Humanity has made a noticeable step forward in terms of progress over the past 100 years.

Racism was the norm. Even intellectually developed people belittled others for their origins . They were openly called black people "inferior race". Blacks went by in separate buses, could not study at universities, were obliged to serve whites. Now the principle of tolerance has been proclaimed in the world and all people, regardless of gender and race, are treated well.

Time is in a hurry modern technologies are violently breaking into the modern world and changing all areas of our lives. Just 100 years ago, humanity was just getting acquainted with the magic of telephone communication and mastering land transport. For modern people, all these things are means of daily use.

Humanity is changing, and no matter how much we talk about whether it's bad or good, and in which years it was easier and happier to live time is only moving forward.
