We use will and won‘t to talk about Promises and hopes for the future. Predictions, often after I think or I don‘t think. Going to + infinitive. We use be+going to to talk about Intentions and plans. May/might. We use may or might when we are less certain about the future. Choose the correct words. Tomorrow we are.


We use the present continuous to talk about arrangements for a future time. We‘re meeting our friends at Opera House tonight.

Tomorrow we are going to / will decorate our house: we have already bought the paint and the brushes. A Where’s your homework, Anna? B I promise I’m finishing / I’ll finish it tonight, Mr James. I hope we might not/ won’t destroy our marine environment. Your train leaves/is leaving at half past five. She’s going to/might visit Uluru when she goes to Australia. She hasn’t decided yet. Ellen Jones comes/is coming to dinner later.
