Ever since the Internet came into existence, there have been attempts to censor it. While I think that the Internet should be a place where information is allowed to flow freely, I strongly believe that the Internet needs controls or censoship.

Firstly, the children need to be protected from harmful websites. These days the Internet is full of different links and one wrong click can lead you to some immoral and inappropriate websites. Therefore, blocking these kind of websites will make children safe and let their parents relax.

The second reason why the Internet needs control or censorship is because of posers and hackers who try to steal other‘s people personal data in order to make profit or some other vicious reasons. Consequently, control is really needed to ensure people‘s safety, so everyone can use the Internet without fearing of being ripped off or offended in some other way.
