Does school prepare students for the world of work?

School has some advantages and disadvantages and so it is difficult to say does it prepare students for work or not. In my opinion, I think there are more advantages as I will explain.

To begin with, there are a lot of subjects for general understanding. You may not need to know all of the Middle Ages history in your job and we should not be upset about it, because more you know, more interesting it is talk to you.

Furthermore, above memorising facts and mathematical formula, school teaches us certain values, such as determination or critical thinking. They are learnt with practise and hard work. In my opinion school gives students a lot of opportunities for students to develope their characters and wishes.

To sum it all up, I believe that school years is very helpful stage of life, which gives you bunch of challenges and good experiences, even though it may be useful for some people.
