Leo Kanner, an Austrian psychiatrist who worked in the United States nearly 60 years ago, described a group of children who disliked communication, preferred solitude, did not speak or tended to repeat the same words, actively resisted changes in order and environment, and had difficulty learning. L. Kanner called the condition autism. Although a number of scientists have been investigating this disorder since then, it is still relatively unclear.
Autism is a complex, multifaceted developmental disorder characterized by communication, imagination, interests, behavior and emotions. This disorder affects all of the child's activities - verbal and non-verbal communication, social interaction and develops in early childhood. Scientific sources indicate that autism causes lifelong social communication, communication and behavioral problems (2).

Sometimes we wonder if we are all "a little autistic". The answers to this question vary from author to author. At the behavioral level, the answer is yes because the autistic person may behave like a very timid and shy healthy person in certain situations. However, at the biological level, autists are usually very different from other people - there is an anatomical or neurophysiological impairment of their mechanism of disability in the brain that other people do not have. At the cognitive level (according to each theory you choose), autists are different from other people. For example, a variety of causes may exacerbate what appears to be the same behavior of an autistic “normal” rebellious teenager (4).
Autism was thought to be a severe emotional disorder or congenital schizophrenia. Mostly it was associated with a mother's refusal to adopt a child. As a result, the mother herself, who was often condemned as a bad mother, was in great trouble. Over time, it turned out to be a false, unsubstantiated and unproven public opinion.
Autism is a manifested clinical syndrome. There are many factors that contribute to the damage to the brain of a child, which is manifested by some of the symptoms known as autism. Currently, autism is considered a non-specific disorder caused by a variety of harmful organic, biological and genetic factors. The main mechanisms responsible for the signs of autism are dysfunction of the brain structure and disruption of biochemical processes in the brain.
Autizm- it is a lifelong disorder characterized by deficits in language and social development. People with autism need constancy, repetition, predictability. Despite the severe disabilities associated with lack of language and the inability to communicate fully, many children exhibit unusual skills - especially visual memory. They are great at solving puzzles and similar visual tasks. Today, we know that many children with autism speak but cannot use language socially - although they want to communicate, they do not. They are afraid of change. They have ritualistic behavior and often have mania. The child's stress often escalates into aggression towards others and himself.
