I am originally from Lithuania, the Baltic country, geographically located in the centre of Europe, and qualified as a northern European country. I been living in Ireland for a last 8 years. Now I am holding only a high school leaving certificate and are happy to challenge my own will to aim for a third level education in a foreign language as well as progress in the professional field.

Within the years while living in Dublin, I have been part of the various business. However, one thing in common was the focus on customer service and communications throughout. I would like to broadly oversee my experience and personal attributes that I was able to gain and work on.

At the age of 20, my one of the first jobs was a direct sales agent, working door-to-door. The challenge to this specification of a job is the ability to maintain focus, courage, and willingness through the day. Yet the best achievement for myself was that I was able to break the ice with strangers at the doors step, either I make a sale or not, and prove to myself that I can explain myself clearly and professionally in a language that I have struggled so much to learn in school.

The first experience in supervisor/manager role left the mark in my career path as well. Just a year later, working in a service station, I have delegated a responsibility to run shifts, open and close store. I have been motivated by the level of duty and being able to manage an area of responsibility.

Since 2013 I am a member of an Aldi team, working in the busiest store in Ireland, located in Dublin, Coolock. I joined the team as a store assistant and since then worked throughout positions to become a member of management and taking responsibility level up to running a store by myself for a number of days on a regular basis.

As a deputy manager in the store, I report to the Store Manager and Area manager. Depending on the situation I can take different responsibilities in store. However, as in such a busy store management team has divided the areas of responsibility to be able to work more productively and with a substantial area of accountability. I have my focus targeted to shop floor operations and to maintain the automotive ordering system, C-GOS. At any given time, I would take responsibility for up to 15 members of staff to supervise, delegate duties, and lead by example. I take a hands-on approach in my work area.
