Hello ladies and gentlemen, I have a question for you. Did you know that July 2019 was the hottest month ever recorded on earth, a prolonged drought is affecting millions of people in East Africa, and in August Greenland lost 12.5 billion tons of ice in one day. I am the student of university and today I will shortly give you some information about one of the most important topic these days - the climate change but from the financial side One thing has become very clear - climate challenges are growing in their scope and scale and they really impact all aspects of the financial system. They impact investors, institutions and regulators. My speech will be divided into two main parts: first, I will talk generally about the current and future consequences of climate change and then expand a little on the solutions. And if you have any questions during my speech, do not hesitate to ask at the end.
