Can robots take over human jobs.

Since the first great revolution of technology, people have tried to create robots and machines. The world started to change, advancements in technology started to take over the workplace. Many people started to lose their jobs because simple machines like computers started to replace them, because they are more consistent than humans under pressure as well as automating their work, accomplishing the task way faster. Technology started to take over more and more jobs that weren’t so complex. However, is it possible for a robot to take over a human's job that is so much more advanced?

I personally think that at the moment the robots are neither trusted nor advanced enough to take over the jobs. For a robot to be trustworthy for a big task it just needs to be able to interact with other people, also being up to speed with everything that is going on around the job/business or even the world.
