And last but not least, the monthly jobs report. When the jobs report is released each month, the market may have a strong reaction to the data. Analysts may view an overly strong jobs number as negative because interest rates might rise. But if jobs number is weak, market might rally because interest rates will remain low.

Buy high and sell higher. This strategy appears to defy logic and common sense, it works as long as you use strict money management tactics.

Slow bear markets are the most difficult for investors, because if you're not careful to study the clues, you may not realize it's a bear market until most of the damage has been done. But luckily bear markets tend to be shorter, lasting a few months to a year.
